Michael Jordan recently made headlines for his Charlotte Hornets deal, while also going viral again for a video recorded eight years ago where MJ tried to break up a fight between Wack 100 and Charleston White who were ready to go at it, however, MVP's wife Yvette Prieto prevented him to get involved.
Michael Jordan tried to stop the fight
Back in 2015, Michael Jordan and his wife Yvette Prieto went to the Manny Pacquiao vs Floyd Mayweather fight, and as they were leaving, MJ saw that there was a problem between record producer Wack100 and internet personality Charleston White.
MJ's larger-than-life personality was challenged by a simple altercation as he tried to make his best to broker peace and ice the situation between both men, however, his wife Yvette Prieto did not like the idea of her husband getting involved.
As we can see in the video, Michael Jordan was being pulled away from the confrontation as things began to get heated, eventually, the couple turned to the other side of the parking lot where the escalation took place.
According to Wack100 in a later Youtube interview, on his way out of the Pacman vs Mayweather fight, there was a person who was elbowing people to get through; Wack100 turned around and saw White approaching him.
After the situation began to get heated, MJ intervened to simmer them down while there was talk about a gun being there. It is yet unclear who had the gun or where it came from but what is clear is that Prieto did not want any part of an unnecessary altercation.
So Prieto did what a wife who wants to protect her husband did, pulled him away from trouble or anything that could harm him, especially when there is talk of drawing weapons.
